Jack Sharpey Saunders

This is my maternal grandfathers brother. He is standing outside the house in which I was born, (Lynette Pope Nee Caister), 3 Burnhams cottages, Tram Road. You can just see the back end of my fathers brand new Ford Anglia, which I don't remember as I was only under a year old when this picture was taken. Just to the left of this picture was a field in which the "sock lambs" were kept that were hand raised by Jacks wife, Gladys and myself.
