My G.G.grandparents James Pitt Budden and Rhoda Russel Robertson where teachers at the school from c.1860 to c.1900. Their children were, James John, Elizabeth Naomi, Rhoda Louise, Archibald Lefeaux and Harry. They also had three children who died young, Jane Blackman, Ellen Pitt and William. Rhoda (Robertson's) father John, was a master mariner and one of his brothers was the Lynsey Robertson who was the lighthouse man mentioned on this site under a picture of the lighthouse.
