Frenchman's Beach Caravan Site after storm

I remember that storm well.. caravans found halway to winchelsea, ontop of cars.. people salvaging what they could.. i was only 15 at the time but there was still a spirit there at that park. My nan and Granddad Jean and Jeff Jeffery had a van there (a1) from the mid 70s.. I spent most of the weekends there as a child.. the picture brought back a lot of good memories even though it was as bad day..

i dont know if you have any more pics of frenchmans beach from around that time as i live in Denmark now and sadly nan and grandad have long past away now and was searching the net for a few childhood memories.. i would be grateful if you had anymore you could mail me ... thanks Mark .. mbailey33@gmail.com

I remember it very well, we were living at 15 Tram road at the time and I was working at Goulds concrete works. I will always remember the new office block at Alfords wharf, all that was left were the columns and roof, the rest had been blown down.
