I have been researching my family tree and have a link to the Cutting family through my Great Great Aunt Charlotte Cutting (Foord) I am also interested in the Clark Family as I believe that another Great Great Aunt Margaret Clark (Foord) may also be linked to this disaster.

The photo is the first picture of the memorial that I have seen.

My dad was John Roberts Cutting he lived in Rye till he moved up north married my mam when he was 17yrs old. His dad was William James Cutting and his dad was William Cutting who was married to Charlotte Foord that would make Charlotte my great great grandmother
