On the ferry

Brightie (neé Pope) who is on the left with her cousins, Grace in the centre and Joan on the right, took the ferry across the river. She is from a large family of nine brothers and a sister and with her cousins regularly visited Rye Harbour by bike when she was a young woman. Brightie is now in her 80's but has happy memories of visits to the Harbour.
