Tower at Lime Kiln Cottage

This look out tower was built in 1940's(?) for defending against invasion. It was bolted to the concrete pad just south of the cottage where there are now three wooden seats. Photo taken October 1947 and found at Environment Agency depot at Scott's Float.
Picture Added on 19 March 2006.
